Features of your cellphone

Regardless of the make or model of your phone, Telus Mobility has universal phone features. The following is a list of features for Telus Mobility phones:

Placing a Call: Enter destination phone number and press SEND

Receiving a Call: Press SEND to answer

1. Call Waiting:An audible tone, while you are talking, lets you know someone is waiting. Press SEND to speak to your second caller and SEND again to return to your original call.
2. Call Forwarding: This feature forwards all incoming calls to another phone number and still lets you make outgoing calls. Press *72# + area code + phone number + SEND to activate. Press *720 + SEND to deactivate. To Call Forward to a long distance number, simply press 1 before the area code. Remember, long-distance charges will apply.(NOTE:This feature is a paid service)
3. 3-Way Calling: To set up a three-person conference call on your cellular phone, simply get the first party on the line and press SEND. Then call your second party and press SEND. Once both parties are on the line, press SEND again and you have a conference call.

Cellular Voice Mail

From your PCS phone, dial your 1 + 10-digit wireless number + SEND or from any other touchtone phone, dial your 10-digit wireless number.

Press * key to interrupt the system greeting.

When prompted for a password, enter your 10-digit wireless number. You're now in the main menu of the Voicemail system:

To create your password:

1. Press 4 for personal options.
2. Press 2 for administrative options.
3. Press 1 for password.
4. Type any 4-digit password that doesn't start with zero.
5. Press #. The system recording announces the password that has been created.
6. Press * * to end the call.

To record a personal message:

1. Press 3 to record a personal greeting.
2. Press 1 to change the personal greeting.
3. Press 2 to record a personal greeting.
4. Record a greeting (maximum 2 minutes) and press #.
5. Press # again to verify the greeting.

Accessing your Cellular Voice Mail

From your Cellular Phone:

• Press 1 + your 10-digit cellular number + send and then when prompted enter your 4-6 digit password

From a Landline, dial your number:

• Interrupt your greeting by pressing * key + your password
